Some of you may have noticed a lack of website over the past couple of days. Whilst very unfortunate it happened with the best of intentions. The company that hosts our website became aware of a serious vulnerability which you can read all about here: cpanel exploit
At present things appear to be back in normal form – but we as web admin will be keeping a close eye on the situation over the coming weeks and months.
Whilst we may not like the approach our hosting provider took. The fact remains that they took decisive action in the face of an extreme online threat; and what they did was in our best interests, lessons were learnt and hopefully we all move on with our lives.
